Building a cultured & service Oriented society

Sanatan Dharm raksha mahasangh is deeply committed to preserving the values of Sanatan Dharm and integrating Dharm.sanskar, and seva in to daily life. Through impactful initiatives in education, social welfare, gau seva(cattle welfare),health care and cultural awareness, we strive to foster a harmonious, responsible, and value driven society.

Lasting change in society comes less from law, more from sanskar.

About Sanatan Dharm raksha mahasangh

The Mahasangh exists for more than religious gatherings or isolated service work. Its highest purpose is to reawaken the eternal principles of Sanatan Dharm and its sixteen sanskaras, and through them to build a society that is disciplined, self-reliant, harmonious and devoted to service — one that honours its duty to dharma, nation and humanity.

Every action we undertake — a Bhagwat Katha, a Ramkatha, a Shiv Purana discourse, cow service, temple building, elder care, schooling, charitable healthcare, animal welfare, the marriage of an underprivileged daughter, a sanskar camp, or any other work of public welfare — ultimately serves one purpose:

Individual→Family→Society→Nation→World Welfare

As the individual gains sanskar, the family grows strong; as the family grows strong, society becomes organised; as society organises, the nation grows powerful and moral — and as the nation turns moral, the path to the welfare of the world opens.

The Seva Sutra

One thread, six turns, a whole civilisation.

From dharma comes sanskar. From sanskar comes character. From character comes family. From family comes society. From society comes the nation. From the nation comes the welfare of the world.

This single sutra guides every programme the Mahasangh runs — whether a temple, a gaushala, a school, a hospital or a wedding hall. Nothing we build stands alone; each service is one turn of the same wheel.

What We Stand For

Our Goals & Focus Areas

Our projects focus on protecting temples, promoting Sanatan values, preserving cultural heritage, and connecting communities with India’s rich spiritual traditions.

Sanatan Society Organization Campaign

Building a united and service-oriented community by bringing together youth, women, teachers, doctors, farmers, Gau Sevaks, scholars, social workers and other sections of society.

The initiative focuses on coordination, volunteer development, social awareness and collective action for long-term community development.

Cow Protection & Gau Seva

We envision promoting Gau Seva (cow service) as an expression of compassion, responsibility, rural development and environmental care.

Our proposed initiatives include model Gaushalas, veterinary care, natural farming awareness, organic manure production, tree plantation and training programs connected with sustainable rural development.

Temples & Integrated Seva Centres

We envision developing integrated service centres where temples, Gaushalas, Sanskar Centres, senior citizen facilities, charitable healthcare, libraries and yoga centres can function together.

The objective is to reconnect spiritual life with education, social service and community welfare.

Senior Citizen Care & Respect

Respect for elders is an important value of Sanatan culture.

Through senior citizen service initiatives, the organization envisions providing opportunities for dignity, health, spiritual engagement, cultural activities and meaningful social participation for senior citizens.

-- Life's Sacred Milestones

The sixteen sanskaras.

“Sanskar is what makes a human being truly human.” These sixteen rites mark and shape a life from conception to final rites, and sit at the centre of everything the Mahasangh builds.

*The centenary of India's independence — the horizon of our working plan.

- Our Vision

A 25-year plan for Bharat.

This vision document is our record of service, sanskar, social responsibility and cultural awakening. It sets out a 25-year plan, moving through five phases, to expand the organisation, establish Seva Grams across regions, build self-reliant service models and train the leadership to carry them forward.

By the centenary of independence, we envision a Bharat where its youth stand with service, its environment is protected, and education and healthcare reach every home.

- Who Powers This Movement

One good deed, every day.

A small act of service performed daily, without exception.

One service campaign, every month.

A standing monthly commitment to organised community service.

One tree planted, every year.

A yearly act of environmental responsibility.

Sanskar within the family.

Living and passing on the sixteen sanskaras at home first.

Truth and harmony in society.

Standing for honesty and social concord in every interaction.

The Final Pledge

“Taking the Divine as witness, we resolve to live by the eternal values of truth, service, sanskar, compassion and harmony — and to build, for the generations to come, a society rooted in sanskar, responsibility and service.”

- How We Work
